Traveling full-time has been a goal of ours ever since we’ve gotten married. The logistics look different and our family dynamic has changed, but nonetheless this is a dream we’ve always had and hoped one day to pursue. This idea of a nomadic lifestyle was one of the main motivations behind building our Tiny House back in 2015, and followed us when we moved to Asheville.
In short, we’ve always desired to live simply and see the world. That’s really all there was to it.
This one’s a bit of a throwback. For my birthday in February, we booked an overnight Airbnb trip to Boone, North Carolina. This was a special trip for us. Two years ago, for our first anniversary (where has the time gone!?) we went to the nearby town of Blowing Rock. Although we had a blast and enjoyed our stay, we always felt like Boone, a bit bigger of a town, would be a place we could call home in a region we adored.
Almost two years later, we finally made a visit to Boone. And as it turns out, it’s pretty awesome.
Sunday, we had the immense honor of documenting a gorgeous wedding in Franklin, TN- over 8 hours from our home in here Charleston. Although we went to Franklin for business, we found (a little bit) of time to relax and explore this gorgeous historic town in the foothills of Tennessee.
